30 Afghans killed in road side bomb blast

Kabul: At least 30 bus passengers were killed in a road side blast in southern
Afghansitan on Tuesday.
Afghan Interior Ministry officials said the  bus was on its way from Herat to
Kandahar when the device exploded. 10 children and seven women were among the
dead.
Kandahar's provincial government blamed the Taliban for planting the device,
although the group has yet to comment.
A similar blast on the same main road - in Maywand district - had killed three
civilians on Monday
