Maoist cadre shot dead in Bara

BARA, JUL 29 -A group of unidentified gunmen shot dead a UCPN (Maoist) cadre in Bara district on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Young Communist League, Bara-2 In-charge Rupnarayan Prasad Yadav, 37, of Jolgawa tole, Prasurampur VDC, police informed.

Yadav  was shot by three unidentified men while he was sleeping in the terrace of local Jagat Prasad Yadav at around 1.15 this morning.

Yadav, who fell unconscious after being shot, was declared dead upon his arrival at the Kalaiya Hospital for treatment .

Meanwhile, police have intensified search for the shooters.
