1. The religious and political leadership commented that the US is not in favour of the registration of the un-registered Afghan refugees whereas India wants that Afghanistan and Pakistan should confront each other on the issue of Afghan refugees’ return to Afghanistan. (Ummat)

1. Bangladesh PM’s Advisor Professor Gowher Rizvi has rejected Indian media reports that Pakistan was behind the recent Dhaka hostage crisis. This has proved India’s propaganda which aims to defame Pakistan. (Nawa-i-Waqt Edit)
2. The Bangladeshi government is forcing the Pakistani traders and businessmen to purchase raw materials from India instead of Pakistan which are costlier in comparison to the raw material of Pakistan. After the terrorist attack in Dhaka, Pakistani businessmen are thinking that the future of trade with Bangladesh is bleak. (Jasarat)

TERROR STRIKES IN SAUDI ARABIA
1. Central leaders of the Difa-e-Pakistan Council have urged the Muslim leadership to come on one platform against their common enemy. Referring to the blast on the Holy Mosque in Medina it was said that the anti-Islamic forces are trying to upset the Muslim community by targeting sacred places. (Daily Pak)
2. Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has urged that the Muslim nations should unite to protect ‘Harmain Sharif’. He added that the enemy started targeting the spiritual centres of the Muslims. Pakistan should cooperate with Saudi Arabia to foil the game. (Jasarat)
3. Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia are worried since the name of a Pakistani national has emerged as prime accused in the suicide blasts. On their part, Saudi Arabia has denied blaming Pakistan for the blast and said the attack was carried out by a misguided person. (Ummat)
4. A former Brigadier, Asif Haroon, opines involvement of the US and Israel cannot be ruled out in the terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia ‘since both want a state of instability in Saudi Arabia’. Pentagon is guilty of hatching such programmes in the past to exert control over Mecca and Medina Pakistan should provide Saudi Arabia with intelligence inputs and support its investigations. (Ummat)
5. The attack on Masjid-i-Nabvi in Saudi Arabia has shaken the Muslim world as no Muslim can imagine an attack on the site where Prophet Muhammad was buried. In the past the Jews had tried to destroy the tomb of the Prophet. Though, the Daesh has claimed responsibility of the latest attack, no Muslim can do such heinous deed. (Jasarat Edit, Ummat Edit)
6. In the wake of latest terrorist strikes, Saudi Arab should differentiate between its friend and enemy and review its relationships with various nations. Pakistan has a threat from India as India trying to destabilize Pakistan. As a part of a planned international strategy Pakistan is getting converted into a battlefield. Every child here is to sacrifice his/her life for defending the holy places. The strategy for creating an Islam phobia is hatched by the Western media to mislead and disarray the people. (Ausaf Edit)
7. The Muslim unity worldwide should not suffer at the hands of sectarian conflict and it is time to give Muslim unity a serious thought. The Muslims worldwide should come closer and stand by one another. It is not an easy task but the need of the hour is to unite Muslim nations. Terror, fundamentalism, religious prejudices and forces like ISIS can be fought effectively only by Muslims and by coming together against these ‘isms’ and forces. (Ibrat Edit)
8. The terror attacks that were perpetrated in Saudi Arabia could be a reaction to the Saudi-sponsored interference in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Iran and other places in the Middle East and West Asia. The Saudis cannot relax in peace in their palace after setting others’ houses afire. We are living in the age of ‘instant payback’. Hence, it is time for Saudi Arabia to review its policies. These blasts in Saudi Arabia should be a cause of major concern for Pakistan as a Pakistani national was involvement in the attacks. It is not a good thing that Pakistan’s name props up whenever a terror attack takes place. Pakistan too needs to review its policies and uproot the terror nurseries that inspire militancy and fundamentalism and bring a bad name to Pakistan. (Awami Awaz Edit)
POLITICAL SCENE

Prime Minister’s Special Advisor Tariq Fatemi will brief about the foreign policy challenges while interior minister Nisar Ali Khan will outline internal security issues, while the Army Chief will give a briefing on the success of the operation terrorism and discuss the future course of action. (Daily Intekhab)
2. Analyst Javed Abroo writes: it is Pakistan’s misfortune that whenever any terror attack takes place, the first country or person to be blamed for their involvement in that attack is Pakistan or a Pakistani. It is all the more unfortunate that Pakistan cannot defend itself against these charges. Either Pakistan’s rulers do not know how to defend the country or they are keeping quiet because of some other factors. Ironically it is either the US or India who rushes with these charges against Pakistan. The Saudi Home Ministry has identified in its twitter message the Jeddah attacker as Abdul Gulzar and stated that he had migrated to Saudi 12 years for a job as a driver. Post 9/11, most of the Muslim countries in West Asia have gotten entangled in a terror wave. The way the US is busy consolidating itself in this region has led to a spurt in the instability and the rise in terror activities. Ever since the US has stepped into this region, lawlessness, suicide attacks and violence have become the order of the day. Be it Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq or even Turkey the US often tries to bring instability there to open up the need for weapons. It is a part of the global conspiracy that the organisations like ISIS have been created. No conspiracy in the world can succeed without a dollar. (Ibrat)
