BHADRAPUR: One youth has been seriously injured from firing by an unknown person at 8:40 on Friday night at the Bhutanese Refugee Camp at Beldangi- 1 of Jhapa.
Sabir Subba, 21, living in G-3 of Sector- 1 was seriously injured, said the District Police Office, Jhapa.
He was shot on the chest and was taken to BPKIHS for treatment in Dharan in the night itself.
Although the bullet was brought out immediately, he is still not out of danger, said the police.

2. Organisations deplore killing and demand security

NEPALGUNJ: Various Human Rights Organisations and lawyers deplored the murder of chairman of the Community Radio Tulsipur of Tulsipur, Dang, Devi Prasad Dhital (Hemraj) by an unknown group.
They have demanded with the Nepal government to fulfil the full responsibility of law and order with serious thoughts on the safety of the media persons, media houses and entrepreneurs while demanding action on the culprits.
The communiqué issued by them states that they were stunned by the murder of Dhital who was also the advisor to the Lions Club of Tulsipur, Human Rights and Peace Society, Dang, and other organisations.

3.Haul of weapons recovered

RAJBIRAJ, JUL 24 –  Police on Saturday recovered a large number of weapons at Bhutahi VDC in Saptari district.
Acting on a tip-off, patrolling team of the Armed Police Force and the Nepal Police recovered weapons that were hidden underground in front of the Chati Customs Office at Bhutahi-4 this morning, police informed.
According to the police, they recovered a set of 42 inch rifle, two sets of long pistol, and others.
